Our goal is to address a silent crisis affecting Africa. The incidence of stroke in Africa is on the rise.
Awareness
We believe that stroke care should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances. That's why we're building a platform that raises awareness on stroke and the importance of early presentation to the hospital for early initiation of stroke care pathway.
Screening
We conduct screening activities aimed at reducing incidence of stroke and for preventing stroke re-occurrence.
Health education
Health education about stroke, prevention, recognition, acute care and impact of stroke.
Recovery
Our affordable Stroke recovery digital downloads give you clear recovery support for patients, caregivers and families. These are aimed at supporting patients to achieve full recovery post stroke.
Targets
80% of those affected by stroke in Africa arrive at the hospital well after 4.5hrs!
- Increase public knowledge of stroke.
- Decrease time of onset and time of hospital arrival time
- Improve physical recovery.
- Address mental health impact of stroke.
- Improve overall wellbeing of those affected by stroke.
